We keep this simple, because what we do is simple: this site exists to explain how we work and to hear from companies worth building. We collect as little as possible.

Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which articles and pages people read. Analytics runs only if you choose "Allow analytics" in the consent banner — if you decline, nothing loads and no data is sent. We have disabled Google Signals and all advertising personalization: no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no audience building, and we never sell or share data for advertising. Analytics never runs on draft previews or the investor login page. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the Privacy choices control in the footer of every page — withdrawing consent turns analytics off and removes its cookies.

What analytics records

Page views, which articles are read and how far, and clicks on citations and internal links — identified by page and article name only. We never record what you type into any form field, credentials, health information, or any other sensitive personal information.

Forms

If you use "Work With DeepStart" or "Submit a Company," we use the information you provide to evaluate and respond to your inquiry. We do not sell form submissions or use their contents for unrelated marketing, and form contents are not sent to analytics. Submissions are processed through Vercel, our website host, stored privately in Sanity, our content system, and delivered to us as an email notification through Resend. We may retain submissions for up to 24 months, after which they are deleted in accordance with our retention process. You may request access to or deletion of your submission at any time by contacting privacy@deepstartvc.com.

Cookies

We use a first-party cookie to remember your analytics choice. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may set additional first-party measurement cookies. We do not use advertising cookies. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via Privacy choices in the footer.
